My sister and her husband were abruptly evicted at the end of May.
They then had to do temporary residence at a motel, which is very costly. On top of all of this, she suffered an epidural hematoma from a bad fall while there. 💔
She was admitted to the hospital critical care unit on May 30 and had surgery to relieve the swelling and bleeding. She is still there as of today, June 8. She will need physical therapy and rehab. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her. But they are also struggling to pay for gas, food and necessities while she is in the hospital. Plus the car they have isn’t reliable at all, so he’s trying to get into a hotel that is closer to the hospital, which costs more than where they were at.
