First let me give praise to the most high God, who supplies all my needs. Even though I am not deserving of his unconditional love, grace, favor, and mercy. Thank you God for allowing me and my family to see New Mercy's. My name is Alexis Williamson. I am a 32 year old single mother of one. My son Princeton Williamson is 7 years old. I can't truely remember a life before my son. He has been my rock and strength from the very beginning. Unfortunately from the very beginning life has not be fair. Princeton father has never been involved in his life. He was extremely abusive and controlling. Not only did I have to fight off his father everyday. I was also physically fighting my adopted father. Due to these actions, I left all my things behind and never looked back. When Princeton came into this world I had nothing and no support. He was born in a abuse Shelter for women and children. If it wasn't for my social worker and resources provided from the state, I have no clue how we would have made it. We lived there for several years. I finally was able to get back on my feet I lived in a apartment and bought my first car, and thought I had found love again. My ex was also abusive. He wrecked my apartment, and totaled my car. I lost everything again due to the raft of a broken man. We now live in a extended stay in Newnan GA. We have a roof over our heads but each month I'm paying at least 19,000. Due to my job not paying much and having to provide a roof over our heads and groceries, and gas I'm not able to save any of my check to get ahead. Or even consider looking for a home. I would love to buy a home but rent seems to be a better option right now for us. Most properties are asking that you have a certain amount in your account. Make 2 or 3 times the rent. Also pay the deposit, which is the coast of first months rent. As well as pay first months rent. Anything or and resources would help up tremendously. I am doing the best I can. I tried applying for state assistance, but they stated that I make to much. All I want to do is give my son a fair chance. Put a better roof over his head and fill his belly. Before you decide to lend a helping hand, I ask that you please send up a special prayer for us. Even if you can't donate please send up a prayer for us. God bless you and thank you for listening to my story.
