Kenya Missions Field
In October 2021 I was invited on and blessed to attend my first mission trip to Kenya, Africa. At that time, I just knew three things: Africa had always been on my bucket list, I loved people, and most of all I love God and spreading the Gospel. On my first trip to Kenya, I was blessed to have met and evangelize alongside Dr. James Merritt and his wife Teresa. Little did I know that trip would change my life and my passion for evangelism. As I witnessed people who heard of God but didn't follow him hand over and surrender their lives, now becoming one of God's children, I knew I had a hunger inside of me to meet new people and share my testimony and pray over them without fear and trepidation. After that initial trip, I again went back the following summer to continue finding ways I could one day take my own group with me to share in the experience. While in Kenya, we serve and are partnered with Kimbo PEFA Church, a 5000-member Gospel church located in Kimbo, a village located on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya's capital city. Their church is fully committed to outreach and has many ongoing projects they rely on missions' teams to help provide help with and fund. Please prayerfully consider partnering with me as I am invited to attend again this February. It was suggested I open up a GoFundMe Me account and announce this mission trip so others can share in the opportunity for making this happen again for me and the body of God. I have faithfully been in the community evangelizing and want to continue this opportunity ongoing in Kenya.
