I’m helping my friends there raise money to rebuild, for food and school supplies and to support families. Thank you SO much to all of the donations we have received so far!! In just a day or two I’m going to close down this fundraiser and send the funds off to the various groups in Indonesia. We will be supporting:
- Students attending university in Maumere whose family homes in Palu’e were destroyed. By covering room & board and some installments on their tuition, we can prevent them from having to drop out of school while their families focus on rebuilding
- the organization Sambung Tangan who is collecting for supplies and rebuilding costs in Flores
- Orang Muda Katolik who is collecting for rebuilding costs in their own rural community. I stayed here for a few days and the people were so welcoming and kind so I’m honored to be able to support them in some way.
- Rebuilding costs for children who attend the extracurricular learning program Tera’s Baca Anmok in Ende. I stayed with the teacher and her family and held English classes. They are wonderful kids.

Thank you SO much to all of the donations we have received so far!! In just a day or two I’m going to close down this fundraiser and send the funds off to the various groups in Indonesia. We will be supporting:
