Our industry has always been about compassion first. That is why Connected Cannabis Co. and AlienLabs is supporting the Family Meal Initiative by launching this crowdfunding campaign and getting the ball rolling with a contribution of $2,500. We are encouraging our peers and patrons to help us reach and exceed our goal of $10,000 to feed people in need!
What is Family Meal?
Based in Sacramento, Family Meal is a chef-driven initiative to mobilize restaurants to create meals for people in need. Your contribution not only feeds people in need but also benefits everyone in the foodservice supply chain. Restaurants utilize the donations to keep staff on payroll and order supplies from local farmers and purveyors in the "farm to fork" capital of the world. Please donate and share!
What Does My Contribution Pay For?
Every $20 raised through this campaign pays for one Meal Kit. Each kit is designed to feed up to four people or feed one person for up to four days.
- $20 = 1 Meal Kit
- 1 meal kit = 4 meals
- $100 = 5 Meal Kits
- 5 meal kits = 20 meals
- $500 = 25 Meal Kits
- 25 meal kits = 100 meals
