Lydia is a neighbor of mine. She’s young, with 2 kids and a sweet husband. She’s like any friend. She helps where she can and strives to make a good life for her family. In 2024, Lydia was diagnosed with cancer. She took it on like a champ! She did all the things. Chemo, radiation, mastectomy, exercise daily! and worked when possible. She had a house party when she completed treatment. With all she had endured, she was hopeful that she was in remission. Sadly, a PET scan showed that nothing worked and she was in Stage 4! Even doing everything possible. It’s been a hellish year. Friends, we’re not always in a position where $ can help. Lydia has a daughter starting college next week to pursue nursing. Her roof is in bad shape and needs to be replaced. I imagine the stress is overwhelming. Can you help with a donation? It’s not easy to ask for $ when you’re a working adult.
