Our dear friend Rustin Woolsey and his family are facing an incredibly difficult season, and we’re asking our community to come together and help lighten their load.
Rustin recently underwent an unexpected emergency surgery, and during that process, doctors discovered that he has cancer. He will soon begin treatment, and while the family is focused on getting Rustin through what lies ahead, the medical bills are already beginning to stack up.
This news comes after an already challenging year for their family. Rustin’s wife is still recovering from her own serious and very costly medical emergency earlier this year. Now, with another major medical battle in front of them and two kids to care for and support, the financial strain has become overwhelming.
Rustin and his family have a lot to carry right now. Our hope with this fundraiser is to take at least one worry off their shoulders so they can focus their energy where it matters most—Rustin’s treatment, recovery, and their family.
