My fur baby was born on 12/30/2012. She was placed in my arms 6 weeks later. I instantly fell in love with my beautiful Dior who has been my very best friend and companion for 10 years now. Not only has she been my heart but she captured my mother and step dad heart as well. They adore her as she was there very first pet. Dior has been the comfort we needed as a family and provided a different kind of happiness we all needed at times of distress for all of us including friends. She's the best trained affectionate fur baby on earth. On 11/12/2022 my girlfriend and went out out of town for a day to spend some quality time. We came back the next day, of course Dior greeted us with her normal hop up and down run around our feet greet but this time she was limping. I checked her paws and seen a large fluid filled soft bump on top of her paw, now Prior to leaving out of town, Dior had a medium sized cyst that I knew would fall off in the next few weeks seeing as though shih tzu's are prone to cysts and Dior's was benign, when I went to pick her up Dior cried like never before, I checked her cyst that was enlarged underneath the skin and red. I immediately gathered Dior leash and medical records, we went to the nearest 24 hr emergency and she was still crying in the car. After 3 hrs they informed me they wouldn’t be able to see Dior for a few more hrs but i can take her home and wait on there call. Dior was comfortable when they called so I decided to wait seeing as though Dior already had an appt on 11/17/2022 with her doctor. I received news that she had 2 Tumors that need to be removed.
