My mom Karen Lessor Layton suddenly and unexpectedly passed away September 10. Mom served in the Army as a helicopter mechanic, and continued that passion when she got out. She worked down in Fort Rucker Alabama, making her way up to maintenance supervisor over CH-47 Chinook helicopters. Mom’s greatest pleasure in life and proudest achievement were her two boys, me and my brother, and her grandbabies: Evan, Hoover, Payton, Xander, and Anthony. She was an amazing woman that always shined with positivity and love. And would at any given time give the shirt off her back to help another person. This fund is to help pay for cremation costs, and help ease my brother in anyway possible.
