Laura has spent the last 6 years taking care of strangers as a nurse, and all of her adult life taking care of her children as a mother of three to Jakalynn, Brooklynn, and Hadley. Now it’s time for friends, family, and strangers to help take care of Laura. Laura was diagnosed with what they thought was a slow growing cancer earlier this year, and unfortunately that cancer has transformed to rapid growing and progressive. As she begins treatment, she has taken a leave from work to focus on her health and spend time with her family. This has created a financial strain no one expects to face at 33 years old. The purpose of this fundraiser is to let Laura know there are people who love her and want to help, and to help alleviate some of the financial burden of treatment, medical expenses and time off work.
