My name is Danielle and I'm 38 years old. I've struggled with my mental health for as long as I can remember. Right before covid hit, I had just moved into my first place and things were looking for me. Unfortunately it didn't last long, cause soon later, I was out on the streets and losing all hope. I originally moved here from Florida to help my ill father. But 2 years after I got here, he passed away, and I was on my own to try to make something happen for myself. After I lost that place, I spent the next 3 and a half years homeless on the streets of Minneapolis. By myself and all alone. I finally came across a wonderful program that helped women like me, and as of 3 weeks ago, I am now finally in my own place again and it's absolutely beautiful in every single way. This program saved me and helped reinstate my faith in people and in life. Now- the car that I had been living in broke down on me only 3 days before I moved in here and now I have no way to get to my clients homes and make an life for myself. I have absolutely no income whatsoever and all I need is a working vehicle to help get all of my supplies to and from work every day. I have no other options for getting the money myself so I heard about this platform and I'm putting my faith in people once again. I don't need anything spectacular- just something to get me to and from work each day. I absolutely promise to pay it forward and help back in any way I can.
