My sweet grandson Troy, only 9 years old, has been diagnosed with diabetes type 1 in an emergency state during a flight overseas, we almost lost him!!! The parents are facing urgent medical bills. They are now back home in the US. As we know, managing diabetes requires immediate visits to hospital, medication, daily monitoring, etc... this has been a sudden and overwhelming change in our family. Unfortunately, these cost are far beyond what the parents can manage on they own right now.
