I am raising money for, a bright and determined scholar with dreams of playing basketball at the collegiate level. Maya love for the game is evident every time she steps onto the court, but her journey is not without its challenges.
I’m a devoted single mother who works hard to provide Maya with opportunities to reach her goals. Im her biggest cheerleader, encouraging her to pursue her passions and never give up on her dreams.
As Maya talent has come a long way from playing Parks and Rec at Jesse Owens, so too have the expenses associated with travel basketball. From registration fees and uniforms to the costs of tournaments and travel, the financial burden has become a lot for a single mom. I want nothing more than to support Maya’s aspirations, but the reality of t he situation is that it’s expensive.
I have started this go fund me not just to help cover Maya’s travel basketball expenses, but also to foster a sense of community and support.
