Hi - I'm Kate! I have been planning my 40th birthday trip for a long time, as it is a special event for my family. I was born on Kentucky Derby Day 1982 and it was always a dream to go to the actual derby with my Dad someday. We had decided to make it a family trip for my 40th a few years back and it was going to be a big event. My father unfortunately passed away not too long ago and I have made it my goal to go to the derby for my 40th and finally see Churchill Downs. The trip is very expensive and even a simple place to stay is pretty costly. I am trying to raise enough money to go for my 40th and have the trip we planned in his honor. I will be posting some fun stories and also having a bit of a laugh on here with videos from time to time to help me reach my goal!! Thanks so much xo :)
