My husband and I are currently homeless with our two young sons. We have been living in a hotel while trying to find a safe and stable place to call home.
Our oldest son is 7 years old and autistic, which makes consistency, routine, and a secure environment especially important for his well-being and development. Unfortunately, the instability of homelessness has made daily life extremely challenging for him and for our entire family.
Adding to this hardship, my husband recently suffered a stroke. While he is thankfully on the road to recovery, his condition has limited his ability to work consistently and has placed additional emotional and financial strain on our family. Despite everything, we are doing our best to stay strong and focused on rebuilding our lives.
This fundraiser is to help us transition out of hotel living and into stable housing where our children can feel safe, supported, and secure. The funds raised will be used responsibly and strictly toward essential needs that allow us to regain stability.
