Hello, my name is Dannette. some of you know what i’ve been through for the past 3 and a half years. I've been navigating the difficult and exhausting challenges of being literally homeless. Battling lupus has added an extra layer of hardship to my life. from living outside, sleeping in empty apartments, and scraping by in a hotel room that I've managed to pay for every week with sheer determination and help from a couple angels i’ve met along the way. with no ID and no address to call home finding steady workable jobs is almost impossible. Despite my best efforts, I've continually faced betrayal from people I've trusted, set back by individuals who have taken advantage of my take care of everyone nature, and stolen from me. This has meant I haven't been able to enjoy simple, cherished moments like having my kids visit or cooking a family dinner.Recently, a glimmer of hope appeared when I found a home on Facebook Marketplace. My excitement quickly turned into devastation when I discovered it was a scam. All the money I had painstakingly saved is now in limbo, leaving me financially stranded until the bank investigates further. i can’t stay here even though i moved in and have a lease. the management company has unlocked and opened my door, have called the cops out here, and i’m sure they have more coming. all i need is a few more days and the money to move. I have fortunately been approved for a legitimate apartment, a stable place where I can begin to rebuild my life. However, I urgently need your help to make this dream a reality. I need $500 for the security deposit first, by tomorrowand $1,500 to move in by April 1st.Your help will not only provide me with a safe and secure home but give me the chance to finally have stability, to have my kids spend the night with me just “because”, and to cook dinner in a kitchen that's truly mine. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to this new beginning. Please consider making a donation today. Your help can make a huge difference in my life, offering hope and security where it has felt non existent the past few years. moving in to this apartment will be the first time in years i would have an actual good night sleep knowing i was safe and it couldn’t be taken from me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and support.
