I’m reaching out because my youngest sibling could really use some community support right now. Abby is trying to secure a reliable vehicle, which would open the door to more stable, full-time employment.

Abby and her wife are two of the hardest-working, most deserving people I know. Over the years, they’ve accomplished so much through sheer determination—putting Brit through college and even funding their own IVF journey, which brought us the little one you all know and love. Through it all, though, they’ve never had a truly reliable vehicle.

For years, they poured thousands into keeping two cars running, and eventually had to transition to being a one-vehicle household—which is incredibly challenging in northern New Hampshire. Abby runs an amazing art class for kids out of their home and also works part-time at a local pub. Recently, she was gifted a car that we hoped would help her take on more full-time opportunities, but unfortunately it’s been unreliable and has broken down multiple times—sometimes with her child in the car. As you can imagine, that’s incredibly stressful and scary.

So I’m turning to my community to help raise funds for a down payment on a dependable vehicle for Abby and her family. A solid down payment would make the monthly payments manageable and give them some much-needed stability and peace of mind.

Anything helps. And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean just as much. This is what community is all about—supporting each other through what can feel like impossible challenges.
