What Happened
Two nights ago, my children and I experienced a violent and life-altering event in Mexico. We were attacked and robbed by members of my husband’s own family. Because of the danger this created, we had no choice but to leave immediately.
We were forced to relocate with no notice, no safety net, and no money. For our protection and privacy, our current location will remain undisclosed. What matters is that we are safe now, but only barely holding on.
During the attack and its aftermath, my computer, which I rely on for work and income, was destroyed. That loss alone cut off my ability to support my family financially. We left with only what we could carry, and even that was incomplete.
This was not a planned move. It was not a transition. It was survival.
Short Summary
After being attacked and robbed by family members, we were forced to flee our home in Mexico with nothing. We are currently displaced, without income, housing stability, or basic necessities, and are asking for help to rebuild and stay safe.
Why We Need Help
Right now, we are starting over from zero.
We need:
- Safe housing so we are not living in constant fear or instability
- Food and daily necessities for survival
- Clothing for Tomás, who lost most of what he owned
- A replacement computer so I can work again and regain financial independence
This fundraiser is not about comfort or extras. It is about safety, dignity, and the ability to stand back up after being knocked down in the worst way.
Any support, whether financial or simply sharing our story, helps us move from crisis mode into recovery. We are deeply grateful to anyone who takes the time to read this and stand with us during one of the hardest moments of our lives.
