The short of it:
My baby, my partner, my instrument of a lifetime is currently in transit to North Carolina.
Why? Because we are moving home, together 🥰
Moving her safely across the country is a big investment, and one that I am asking my communities to help me with.

As an independent artist I do not have merch (no vinyls or CDs, no shirts, no stickerss, etc), so this is absolutely the most meaningful way to directly support what I do, and to support the music's evolution.
The long of it:
On the morning of August 5th, 7 years to the day that I officially moved to California, my beloved piano 22 (that's her name) was picked up by pro-movers and began her month-long journey across the States. She will land in Saxapahaw, North Carolina, where a new home is awaiting her. By the time she arrives, I will be too.
Our love story is truly one for the ages, and maybe I'll tell it in full here soon. She called me in 2021 to a piano store in Berkeley, California. As soon as I touched her, I knew; in my 30+ years as a pianist, she is by far the most resonant, attuned, ANOINTED piano I have ever had the privilege of playing. So she became mine.
Since having her, I have recorded and released 5 full length albums and 3 EPs. She is behind every one of them, if not fully featured on them, as well as behind every song I have brought to Sing Praise.
I have shouldered the cost of recording/releasing those albums alone, and today it's clear that it just aint right to do this part alone. She and I are the best team I could ever hope for, and are committed to bringing the music evermore back home in North Carolina.
