Hello beautiful people! Friends and family! We have started a fundraiser to help send our girl off to college!
Malena graduated from Zion Benton Township Class of 2023, however due to new additions to our family, family functions and the summer just being all around hectic for our family, we were not able to properly celebrate our girl and have a graduation party for her. So what we would love to do is share her story, celebrate her successes and wish her all the best in this new exciting chapter in her life!
Malena has always effortlessly excelled in anything she puts her mind to. She's always had a passion for music and art. We have a great appreciation for the teachers throughout her life, who have stayed involved and have helped to guide her to the path she is on. There are quite a few, and they are all super heroes in my eyes. Malena became involved in music at a very young age. By sophomore year she obtained first chair flute, and held onto her position for the remainder of high school, along with learning the piccolo, saxophone, and diving straight into the art scene. She's made many pieces that have sold at the art fair, she's into sculpting, painting, and has recently been teaching herself to crochet. Her hopes are to start her own shop one day.
We're thrilled to see her starting her college career. She'll be attending the University of Wisconsin Parkside for the next 4 years!
Malena has obtained some grants, and scholarships, however the cost for 4 years supercede all of those combined. Malena will be working on campus and doing work studies to help pay her tuition, but any additional contribution to help nudge her in the right direction is appreciated. Let's wish her all the best in her future endeavors!
