Hello everyone, I am reaching out to you today with a heart full of hope and a massive dream. I am currently a hardworking student, and my ultimate goal in life is to become a software engineer. However, the path to achieving this dream is currently blocked by severe financial barriers that my family and I cannot overcome on our own.
I come from a very low-income background, and my family struggles daily just to make ends meet. We live in a very small, three-room house, and space and resources are always incredibly tight. Despite my parents working as hard as they possibly can, our total monthly income is barely enough to cover our basic survival needs, let alone the rising costs of higher education.
Because of our financial situation, affording the tuition, a reliable laptop, internet access, and the study materials required for a computer science degree feels impossible right now. But I refuse to let my circumstances dictate my future. I have a deep passion for technology and coding, and I know that earning this degree is my absolute best chance to break the cycle of poverty for my family.
Becoming a software engineer isn't just about a career for me; it is about changing my family's entire trajectory and eventually giving back to my community. I spend every free moment I have studying and learning as much as I can with the limited resources I currently have. I have the drive, the dedication, and the grades, but I am simply missing the financial backing to take the next crucial step.
