I have a friend at my church who is going through an awful storm. The water company sent her their first water bill and it was $2000. She has recently been in a domestic violence situation and lost their main source of income and is unable to come up with this amount. The water company did not offer her any solution, and they shut her water off today. Her birthday is coming up, and while we want to celebrate her, really what she needs right now is her water tuned back on. She has 4 children, ages 9-18, and is doing all she can to keep their lives somewhat normal.
I know nobody has $2000 laying around to donate, but a friend and I decided we’d try to get $100 from 20 people for her. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
