Hey there, Sydney here. Welcome to my fundraising page for Miss America! Take off your shoes and stay awhile.
Miss America is an organization comprised of smart, confident, and strong women. Can you believe that Miss America is turning 100? This is more than just the glitzy and glamorous competition of yesteryear, it's a coalition of likeminded women who are dedicated to serving their communities and the people within them.
When I joined Miss America, I was met with one question from my friends and family: "why?" And my "why" has to do with the amazing women I am surrounded by, just by virtue of being a part of this organization. My circle is comprised of women who volunteer at homeless shelters while pursuing their Masters, of women who spread awareness about Traumatic Brain Injury across the country, of women who have been recognized nationally as changemakers and world-shakers. My circle inspires me daily, and more than that, my circle empowers and supports me to seek out and attain my own goals. Being a part of Miss America has given me a network of support and empowerment that remains unparralleled.

About the Miss America Foundation:
The Miss America Foundation (MAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers women through career resources and educational scholarships. In addition to awards for women competing in the Miss America program, the MAF offers scholarships to women in the categories of medicine, business, STEM, military service, equity and justice work, social impact, athletics, the performing arts, and more. Donations made through this campaign will directly benefit the candidate’s state organization and the Miss America Foundation, 501(c)(3). As a 501(c)(3), donations are tax deductible per IRS regulations.
