Last November my daughter Addy (11) started having crippling migraines, hallucinating, and feeling as if something is touching her out of no where. Since then she has been been in and out of the mental hospital 4 times(she is currently in now as of 8/25). Over the past couple weeks she has developed a slew of neurological symptoms, blurry vision, temporary loss of vision, fainting being the more severe ones. Her doctors have put in an order for an MRI 4 times and have been denied every time. I am not in the position to pay out of pocket, I'm self employed and although I have the work I can't complete it quickly enough to get the test done any time soon. She is looking to me for answers and I have none, I feel like I'm failing my daughter. I do not like asking for help but I don't know what else to do at this point. I dont qualify for care credit type things or any loan for that matter and I don't have anyone to borrow it from. The cost of the MRI has been covered thankfully, I am leaving this up with adjustments on the off chance anyone would want to donate to getting her a pottery wheel. She has a small beginner one but it doesnt work very well. She has only found 2 coping skills that actually work for her and one of them is pottery. These coping skills are literally the only thing pulling her through attacks. I also just want to say thank you for the people who chose to show kindness instead of judgement, you are appreciated. ❤️
