Hello, my name is Gerald Denson, Jr., and I am a dedicated Jazz Educator and Composer with a passion for lifelong learning, artistic exploration, and community impact.
This summer, I’ve been honored to participate in the Jazz Lab at the New England Conservatory—a transformative program that brings together forward-thinking jazz musicians and educators from around the country. This experience is part of my larger mission to grow as an artist and bring fresh energy and insight back to my students and community.
To continue this journey, I am seeking financial support to help cover travel and commuting costs for workshops, festivals, and conferences that are essential to my professional and creative development. These events offer invaluable opportunities to study with master musicians, collaborate with peers, and stay connected to the ever-evolving language of jazz.
