As many of you know, I’ve been struggling with serious stomach issues for quite some time now. After countless doctor’s appointments and no real answers, I’ve continued dealing with constant bloating, vomiting, and pain.
I’ve finally found a doctor who was able to figure out what’s going on. I’ve been diagnosed with a severe case of gastroparesis, which has almost completely paralyzed my stomach. On top of that, I also need surgery for pyloric stenosis.
At this point, I don’t have any other option but surgery. It is scheduled for May 13th, where they will reconstruct my pylorus and place a gastric pacemaker to help my stomach muscles function properly.
The upfront cost for surgery is $3,000, and I will also be out of work for about a month without pay. As many of you know, that’s a lot to take on at once.
