On July 27, 2023, my entire world changed forever, and now I’m scrambling to recover financially.
My puppy died after she choked on a piece of hot dog that my neighbors 2-year-old son gave to her. We rushed her to the vet and got there barely in time. She was turning blue and it was absolutely terrifying. They took her back immediately and intubated her and got her airway cleared. She was monitored by the vet until they closed, and then I monitored her for 24 hour. The next day, less than 24 hours since the incident, she had cardiac arrest, and after attempting CPR, she was gone.
Losing Cocoa Bean was like losing one of my own children. Her death was an accident and senseless. I have loved her since she was born and I’m so devastated that she’s gone.
Unfortunately, I’m on a very limited income and unable to afford the costs that came with all of this tragedy. I’m well aware that we are all struggling and with that in mind, any amount that you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
