Hey yall.
The world is a lot more scary then what I happen to remember it.
My mom had just gotten her CNA license back and is passionate about her field of work. My sister (Elizabeth Mueller age 15) is passionate about her schooling and is very proud of herself for becoming a honor roll student at Orangeville highscool in Illinois.
Shortly after my mom starting her job at the hospital, She worked with Covid patients. Even though they take extreme measures to ensure their safety and health is taken care of, she went home from a full shift. A few days later she started feeling sick. What she thought was a sinus infection as she has many of them throughout the year, she went for a Covid test and was to be known it was positive.
My younger sister who lives with my mom was shortly behind her with testing positive for Covid.
Monday morning the date of November 8th 2021 my sister called me calm but panicky, they both were on the way to urgent care. When they arrived they were shortly taken by ambulance to Freeport memorial hospital ER. Where they both were immediately put on oxygen to support their lungs.
When Shortness of breath, coughing heavily, migraines, puking had taken over. My sister was sent to UW Madison and was placed in PICU. She remains on oxygen and is making slow progress. My mom as well is on vapotherm oxygen. My sister was placed on a feeding tube for nutrition needs. They finished their Antiviral medications yesterday (praise the Lord)
Some of y'all know them personally, and I describe them as goal driven and very happy women.
My mom has not been to work in almost 3 weeks. She bought her dads house, she accomplished buying herself a brand new vehicle.
medical bills are expensive as some of you know unfortunately.
I am asking from the bottom of my heart, to be a helping hand to my mom and sisters recovery from Covid-19.
TO ADD:
My mom is a hard working soul. She is a Mother to 4 children ages (24, 22, 19,15) and a grandma to 1. Who would be my son. And a Mother in law.
My sister is a very sweet kind caring young lady who has a bright future and wants to get her drivers license pretty quickly.
They have 2 dogs at home waiting anxiously to see them again, and a community of prayer warriors rooting for their recovery. Along with their family waiting to see them again.
With holidays coming up it hurts a little more knowing they're sick and can't be home with us.
If you can't donate, I ask that when you go to bed tonight hug your family tight, tell them you love them, and say a HUGE prayer for my family ❤️🙏
