My wife and I are homeless and have been for going on 5 years now. I have managed to keep my job during this time. But last Friday we were in a car accident that took what we were living in away. I am the only person working right now my wife got hurt at work and is unable to work. She is currently trying to get her social security and disability started but it is a long process. We need help. I can not afford to pay for a hotel anymore because it is getting expensive. I was able to get a room for this weekend but due to we have 3 pets the hotel will no longer extend out stay. We have no place to go. We need help to get an apartment. We do not have the money saved up for deposits and set up for utilities. And I am at wits end and need help. I have tried to get help from charities but have been told that I am viable male and can afford to pay my own way. I make $280.00 more a month then they will allow to be what they consider poverty level.
