Baking is one of my favorite ways to destress and I love sharing my creations with friends and coworkers. A few of them said I should open a bakery, but after looking into it, I realize it’s going to cost a pretty penny. Hence my creation of this fundraiser.
The goal is to raise enough money for my cottage bakery, To Dough, or Die, to get off the ground and cover my bases from a legal standpoint.
Money will be split between legal fees (licenses, application fees, etc) and supply costs (packaging, label printer, etc).
So far I have already acquired my Food Handlers license which is required by Los Angeles County as part of my cottage food license. I’ve also created TikTok and Instagram accounts with the name and began to make a name for myself.
Stretch goal would be $3,000 as I would have extra money for insurance and any hiccups.
