I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember. For most of my life, it was my greatest passion. That changed when Jesus completely transformed my life.
In May 2023, at 17 years old, I surrendered my life to Christ. From that moment on, my perspective on basketball began to change. As I grew in my faith, I started asking myself how God could use my passion for basketball to share the gospel with others.
A few months ago, I learned about a unique opportunity to serve overseas through basketball ministry. This outreach uses youth clinics, basketball tournaments, and coaches' clinics as opportunities to build relationships and share the message of Jesus Christ. As I prayed about this opportunity, I felt God clearly leading me to take this step of faith.
I am excited to share that this July I will be traveling to the Philippines with Origins Basketball for a ministry outreach. Our goal is to use the game of basketball as a platform to share the love of Christ and make an eternal impact in the lives of those we meet.
