Our family is facing something we never imagined possible. Both of my grandparents, Scott and Cindy Steffen, have recently been diagnosed with cancer — just months apart.

If you know them, you know how giving and selfless they are. They’ve spent their lives helping family, friends, and even complete strangers without ever asking for anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to give back to them.

We are raising funds to help cover medical bills, household expenses, and some much-needed home repairs to make things more comfortable as they both go through treatment.

💙 About Grandpa Scott

In July, Scott went to the ER with severe stomach pain. Doctors discovered a mass in his small intestine, which turned out to be stage 4 melanoma. Further testing revealed that the cancer had spread throughout his abdomen, though doctors still can’t determine where it originated. He’s currently unable to work while undergoing treatment and focusing on his health.

💗 About Grandma Cindy

Shortly after, Cindy received her own devastating diagnosis — small cell lung cancer. Back in 2016, she had surgery to remove part of her right lung after a mass was discovered (thankfully non-cancerous at the time). Recently, she began experiencing tightness in her chest, a CT scan and biopsy revealed a new, aggressive cancerous mass in her left lung. She’s now preparing for treatment, but due to her prior lung surgery and upcoming therapies, working will be extremely difficult.

Despite everything they’re facing, Scott and Cindy continue to stay strong for everyone around them. They are true examples of love, faith, and resilience.

Any amount helps — whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our family during this unimaginable time. 💛
