My brother needs a little help...
so these past few months have not been the easiest to say the least my brother and his girlfriend have been together almost 7yrs. And within that time he has been taking care of his girlfriends well being as well as her kids and his own kids and our mother who's health also isn't the greatest while still working a job with little to no days off and has had to leave work early to take his girlfriend to kemo and other health related appointments as we all were told middle of last year that after she beat cancer once it has came back again and this time she has been through so many kemo treatments that have not worked and as a last resort to fight her cancer she was placed on a pill wich worked for a short time and now the cancer has spread completely through out her body and in the process she ended up with sepsis so they had to act fast but with her rare blood type RH- the drs. Had a hard time finding the blood to flush out the infection in her blood and add fresh blood back into her body after that was a successful procedure the cancer attacked again and shut her kidneys down wich prompted surgery to place 2 stints. She also was diagnosed with Chrons disease and she has had to be in the hospital over a week but her drs. And surgeons even after successful surgeries they have done to help better her they are saying there's nothing further they can do at this point and have given her 48hrs to live(wich she surpassed )and my brother as well as his girlfriends kids have been traveling 30min or longer drives to and from the nursing home she was placed in and my brother has had to forfeit paychecks due to time off during all this so funds have been EXTREMELY tight she is still holding on but my brother and myself think that the reason she is doing this is cuz she's wanting to see her dog (wich is at home barely eating not sleeping well and moping around the house looking for her mama( my brothers girlfriend) so I am trying to help them out so they can not stress and worry so much about gas to and from the house and nursing home as well as help her get to see her dog wich untill her dogs shots are all up to date she can't see her the cost of the vaccine is $30 and I myself am broke or I would pay for the shots for them but we r looking at a 2 day time frame left for my brothers girlfriend to be here with us all. my brother drives a (diesel Fueled) truck and it takes 1/4 to a 1/2 tank just to go from his house to the nursing home and back... so being the big sister that I am I feel bad that we are all going through this so im doing what's right and reaching out to everyone that can take the time and put themselves in our shoes and offer us a little help I do believe in what comes around goes around so those that help us out... in return we will do the same when it's needed... all funds donated will go towards her dogs shots and my brothers gas tank and any other funds spent on food while traveling to and from and even towards some of the utilities or rent due to loss of wages from this unexpected situation...
