My name is Mohammed. I am a father of two little girls, Iman and Layan, from Gaza.
Before the war, I had a simple and stable life. I worked as an engineer and did everything I could to give my family a decent life. My dream was to see my daughters grow up safely, go to school, and have the chance to build a better future.
But the war changed everything.
I lost my job, our home was damaged, and we were forced to flee and become displaced again and again. We left behind so much of what we had built over the years. Today, our greatest struggle is simply trying to secure the most basic necessities.
We are living through extremely difficult conditions, struggling to find food, clean water, and medicine. As a father, one of the hardest things is not being able to provide my children with everything they need.
When I look into Iman and Layan’s eyes, I remember the life I once dreamed of giving them. I only want to protect them and give them a chance at a better life.
That is why I started this campaign.
The goal is to provide my family with food, water, medicine, and other basic necessities, and then begin rebuilding our lives and our home. We hope to reach a place where we can live safely and with dignity.
I am not asking for the impossible. I am simply asking for a chance to protect my family and my children, and to start again.
If you are able to donate, no matter how small the amount, you will be making a real difference in our lives. If you cannot donate, sharing our story may help it reach someone who can.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story, and thank you to every person who chooses not to ignore us.
Mohammed, Iman & Layan ❤️🇵🇸
