If you're here, you know I spend time in Africa a couple of times a year and may not know exactly what I do. Read on.
The mission at SFW Conservation is to save the world's most endangered wildlife by training and supporting wildlife rangers, empowering local communities, and supporting our local partners and their conservation projects and initiatives.
We run short, intensive courses for Anti Poaching Rangers who are protecting endangered wildlife on the front line.
No glamour.
No social media team.
Just long days in the field working on fundamentals — first aid, planning, communication, small-team tactics, and decision-making under pressure.
These rangers are under-resourced and outmatched.
Training doesn’t solve everything — but it helps them stay safe and preserve Africa's beautiful wildlife for another generation.
What the organisation needs help with is running more of these courses.
That means:
– Training materials
– Transport to remote areas
– Basic medical equipment
– Local logistics support
If this resonates with you, I’m raising funds to support future courses.
