8-Bit Alley is a 3rd space retro gaming experience where gamers can hang out and play retro games on original hardware in an archive of nostalgic games from various consoles of the 80s-2010s. Atari straight to the WII U. No time limit required. Anyone who comes to play retro games, instead of in their houses, or wants to pay a subscription to play emulated games on modern consoles. For 7.99, you can stay as long as you want, or come back later in the day. With membership being 30.99 a month.

3. What systems do we use?
From Atari (1977)- Wii U (2012), we allow access to games from consoles that are classified as retro and to ensure that we have titles that everyone of every age can enjoy.
4. Will the PS3 only have digital games?
As of now, the Nintendo Wii channel and Xbox
360 store has been discontinued. The Wii channel closed on Jan 30, 2019, and the Xbox 360 store closed on July 29th, 2024. The PlayStation Store is currently active to purchase digital games and DLCs. Since some discontinued games can only be bought physically, and most hard-to-find games aren’t cheap, the PS3 has a physical and digital library.
5. How will memory cards work?
Consoles that require a memory card to save
for consoles of the 3d era of games, more
specifically, N64-GameCube. Any PS1 and PS2 games that are digitally added to the PS3 will be treated as PS3 games. Physical games for the memory card can be rented for use to save your game.
6. Can I donate games?
8-bit Alley is a retro arcade entertainment service, not a store.
All Donated Items will be donated to video game preservation archives.
7. Can I bring my own snacks?
Yes. 8-Bit Alley is an environment to feel like going to a friend's house to play games on a console you don’t have. There is a vending machine, set with prices of snacks before the ‘crash of 08.’ Such as a can of soda being .50, chips being .75, and bottled water being 1.25.
The vending machines take both cash and cards.
8. Do you allow homebrews?
As long as it’s a game that's made to be played on retro hardware and is designed to feel like a retro game.
9. How do Toys-to-Life games work?
Toys-to-life is a genre of games require specific figures to place on the portal. 8-Bit Alley uses NFC tokens. Since tokens for Skylanders save the level of the Skylander that is used, NFC tokens can be lent randomly in an electronic capsule machine that accepts cash and card. How this will work is that there will be a capsule machine that dispenses a random skylander for you to use, and then return it after use, and the progress saved in the token will be available when another person pulls it.
10. Why are there controversial games?
Harry Potter is still an IP from Warner Bros, and despite the allegations with J.K. Rowling, the franchise still has its fans, and that doesn’t make them all bigots. 8-Bit Alley does not endorse antisemitism, racism, homophobia, or transphobia. Every M-rated game with sexual scenes will be relegated to a private room. There is an option to play the censored version, or the uncensored version of a game, but the same rule applies to the uncensored version. Disclaimer: You need to present a state ID/driver's license to play certain M-rated games. Specifically, the games with heavy nudity will require renting out a private room.
11. Why am I raising money instead of a loan?
I would like to keep this arcade to be free from shareholders and shady bank strings. That way, if I go out of business, I can own all the equipment and can reopen in another location.
