On October 11, 2024, Hurricane Milton made landfall in Southwest Florida. This powerful storm caused mass devastation on our beautiful piece of paradise, Manasota Key.

If you’re a resident or a visitor to Englewood you’ve probably been to some of the areas amazing restaurants like Lock ‘N Key, SandBar Tiki & Grille and Magnolias on the Bay. You may also have visited the Manasota Key Marina or The Dearborn Corner Market. These businesses are all owned by one family and make up The Manasota Key Group. 

All five businesses were hit hard by Hurricane Milton causing closure to the businesses for an extended period of time while we rebuild and make our comeback! The outpour of love from the community and willingness to help has led us to the creation of this page. As an organization the Manasota Key Group employs over 300 local residents and we know this devastation will have lasting consequences for the employees and their families. We want to help them stay afloat during this time while the businesses are closed. Here is where we can funnel the support of the Englewood community we all know and love! Your contributions will go directly to the staff of these businesses to help them as they rebuild and move forward through this difficult time.
