Our family recently received news we never expected. My brother was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) after being admitted to the hospital with serious symptoms and extremely abnormal bloodwork.

Everything has happened very fast. He has already undergone a bone marrow biopsy and is now facing an intense course of treatment. His doctors have also warned him that the treatment may affect his fertility, so before treatment progresses, he needs to preserve and store his sperm in case he wants to have children in the future.

On top of the physical and emotional weight of this diagnosis, he is also facing the financial reality of being unable to work normally while going through treatment. Bills do not stop just because someone gets sick.

We are raising money to help with expenses such as fertility preservation and sperm storage, household bills, rent or other living expenses, transportation, meals, medical-related costs, and anything else that comes up while he focuses on fighting leukemia and recovering.

If you are able to donate, any amount will make a difference and help take some of the financial pressure off of him during an already overwhelming time. If you are not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to our family.

Thank you for reading, supporting him, praying for him, and helping our family get through this.

We are taking this one day at a time and doing everything we can to make sure his focus can stay where it belongs: on treatment, healing, and getting his life back.

❤️🙏 ZACKARY'S JOURNEY — THE DAY WE'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR! 🙏❤️

🎉🏡 ZACKARY IS FINALLY COMING HOME!!! 🏡🎉

Today, October 12th, is a day our family will never forget! After nearly six weeks in the hospital, our son Zackary has officially been released from Stanford Hospital! ❤️😭

Since September 4th, Zackary has been fighting one of the toughest battles of his life. From being diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia to suffering bleeding in his brain, spending time in the Neuro ICU, receiving chemotherapy, and undergoing countless tests and procedures, he has shown us what true strength and determination look like. 💪❤️

There were days filled with fear, tears, and uncertainty. But through it all, Zackary never gave up. He kept fighting, kept smiling, and even kept walking those laps around the nurses' station! ❤️

And today, look at him! Outside, enjoying the fresh air and finally heading HOME! 🥹💙

His battle isn't over, but this is a HUGE VICTORY! 🙏

Zackary will continue returning to Stanford every three days for chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and whatever additional treatments his doctors determine he needs. We're also waiting for the results of his bone marrow biopsy, which will help determine whether a bone marrow transplant is necessary.

On October 19th, we'll meet with his medical team to discuss the next steps.

❤️ To every single person who has prayed for Zackary, donated, shared his story, sent messages, or simply kept him in your thoughts — THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! ❤️

Your love, prayers, and support have carried our family through some of the darkest days we've ever experienced.

Tonight, instead of another night in a hospital room, our son gets to be HOME surrounded by the people who love him. And that means more than words could ever express. 🏡❤️

Please continue praying for Zackary as he moves into this next chapter of his journey.

One day at a time. One treatment at a time. One victory at a time. 💪❤️

🙏 THE POWER OF PRAYER! 🙏

❤️ PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT ZACKARY'S JOURNEY! ❤️

His treatment will continue. He’ll return every three days for appointments, where he’ll receive chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and any other care his doctors determine he needs.

We’re still waiting for the biopsy results to learn more about the next steps. For now, we’re getting everything ready for his homecoming and taking this journey one day at a time.

Thank you for your prayers, love, and support. Please keep praying for Zack as he continues his fight. 🙏❤️

❤️🙏 ZACKARY'S

LEUKEMIA JOURNEY — 10/09 🙏❤️

Hello, family and friends! ❤️

We have some important updates to share about Zackary and his fight against B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

First, we want everyone to know that Zack is continuing to stay strong and fight! 💪❤️ He's been getting up, walking laps around the hospital, and keeping that positive attitude. We are so proud of him!

💚 SOME ENCOURAGING NEWS!

Zack's latest bloodwork is showing some encouraging improvements. When he was first admitted to the hospital, his platelet count was dangerously low, around 10,000–16,000. Today, his platelets are up to 104,000! Some of his other blood tests have also improved significantly.

His latest MRI also showed that his brain is healing from the bleeding he experienced earlier in his treatment. This is something we are extremely thankful for! 🙏❤️

❤️ TODAY, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9

Today is another important step in Zack's journey. The doctors are performing a spinal tap to check his spinal fluid for leukemia cells. They will also administer chemotherapy directly into his spinal fluid as part of his treatment.

🙏 MONDAY, OCTOBER 12 — ANOTHER BIG DAY!

On Monday, Zack will undergo another bone marrow examination.

This test will help doctors determine how well his chemotherapy is working and whether he may need a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.

If a transplant becomes necessary, his brothers and sisters may be tested to see whether one of them could be a matching donor.

🏡❤️ AND NOW FOR SOME NEWS WE'VE BEEN HOPING FOR!

If everything continues to go well, Zack may finally be able to GO HOME on Tuesday, October 13! 🙏❤️🏡

After everything he's been through, from his leukemia diagnosis to the ICU, bleeding in his brain, and weeks of chemotherapy, the possibility of finally being able to leave the hospital is such a blessing!

If the doctors give him the okay, Zack will be able to go home and return to the hospital once a week to continue his chemotherapy treatments.

Nothing is guaranteed yet, but we are praying that everything goes smoothly and that Tuesday will be the day he finally gets to walk out of those hospital doors! ❤️🙏

❤️ OCTOBER 19 — FAMILY MEETING

The medical team is scheduled to meet with our family to discuss Zack's treatment and the possibility of a bone marrow transplant.

We still have some big decisions and challenges ahead of us, but we are taking everything one day at a time.

Zack has already been through so much, yet he continues to show us just how strong he is.

❤️ PLEASE CONTINUE TO KEEP ZACKARY IN YOUR PRAYERS! 🙏

Pray that today's spinal tap goes smoothly, that Monday's bone marrow results bring encouraging news, and that Zack gets the green light to come home Tuesday!

We cannot thank everyone enough for the prayers, love, messages, donations, and support you have shown our family.

This journey is far from over, but Zack is a fighter, and we are standing right beside him every step of the way! ❤️💪Thank you all for continuing to stand with Zackary and our family! 🙏

❤️‍🩹 UPDATE ON ZACKARY 10/01 ❤️‍🩹

We received some really encouraging news today. 🙏

The doctors reviewed Zackary’s latest brain MRI, and everything remains stable with NO new bleeding. After everything he has been through with the bleeding on his brain, hearing the word stable was such a relief. ❤️

His blood counts are still extremely low from the leukemia and chemotherapy. His white blood cells and infection-fighting neutrophils are very low, along with his hemoglobin and platelets, so the doctors are continuing to watch him very closely and give him the support he needs.

But Zack isn’t just lying in that hospital bed! 💪❤️ He has been getting up and doing laps around the nurses’ station 2–3 times a day. Staying up and moving is helping him maintain his strength, keep his muscles working, and keep his body as strong as possible while he goes through treatment. I’m so proud of him for continuing to push himself even on the hard days.

The plan has been for Zackary to have a spinal tap next week, but we learned that the doctor who specializes in ALL leukemia will be on Zackary’s floor for the entire week beginning Monday. The team is leaving the final decision up to him on whether Zackary is ready and whether it is safe to move forward with the spinal tap as scheduled.

For now, we are holding onto the positives:

🙏 His brain MRI is stable.

🙏 There is no new bleeding.

🙏 His kidney function continues to look good.

🙏 He’s getting up and walking every day.

🙏 And he continues to fight every single day.

We still have a long road ahead, but every little step forward means so much to our family.

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for Zackary, check on him, check on us, and support our family through this journey. Please keep those prayers coming. ❤️🙏

One day at a time. One treatment at a time. One lap at a time. 💪❤️

❤️‍🩹 ZACKARY UPDATE 9 29 ❤️‍🩹

Another day down in Zack’s fight against B-cell ALL. 💪❤️

Today Zack went in and had his MRI done to see how his brain is healing and how everything is looking after the bleeding he experienced. Now we wait for the doctors to review the MRI and give us the results. 🙏 This is a big one for us, and we are praying for good news.

His latest bloodwork shows that his counts are very low right now. His white blood cell count is 0.7, his ANC is 0.15, his hemoglobin is 7.9, and his platelets are 37. His medical team continues to watch these numbers very closely while he goes through chemotherapy.

There are some encouraging things in today’s labs too. ❤️ His kidney function looks good, his liver numbers look good, and his LDH is in the normal range at 161. His doctors are also continuing to keep a close eye on his clotting numbers, especially after everything he has already been through.

Zack continues to fight every single day. 💪❤️ We are taking this journey one day, one treatment, and one result at a time.

Tonight, our biggest prayer is for good results from today’s MRI. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for Zack, check on him, and support our family. It means more than you know. ❤️
