I am 71-year young women, blessed that God has provided for me for many years, and he has me here for a reason. No, it has not easy journey my life, but I have maneuvered through it many years.

I reside with family and I am so grateful that God has them in my life. I have never really relied on anyone but myself but I have on occasions had to humble myself and ask for help.

Life as it is these days is very difficult for many of us. Retired have had to return to work to try to stay alive as they still have family at home or debts that must be met.

I have always worked hard since I was 10 years old since I come from a family of 14 children. Even when I was home, I was sitting for many folks, creating doll, care bears, costumes, and alterations for military. I made free had birthday cakes when my hands were still good.

I lost my job back in October 2025 and was refused unemployment. I picked up a seasonal job with the aspiration to be employed full time but that did not happen. I have continuously searched and applied for employment, but nothing has come.

My story is that I am overqualified, have a small tattoo on my wrist so I didn't qualify for Mc Donalds. Another Mc Donalds hired me and had me get uniform and food handlers' certificate never to be put on the schedule. Everyone has signs stating they are hiring but no one is hiring.

Online is the same story but no one contacts you.

I have been a hard-working person and for me age in a number, it doesn't let you see what I am capable do doing. Not afraid to learn or work.

People say it's time to retire, then what happens to me? Widows' benefits don't cover living expenses. What I get makes my car payment, car insurance and my debt which leaves me with nothing.

I am scheduled to have a reconstructive surgery due to prolapses that have occurred. I have put the surgery off for 3 years as I couldn't afford to take the time off from work. Well, her I am without work and I need the surgery.

My surgeon has informed me that she will need to ask for the assistance of another doctor to be able to complete the surgery. It will be a total of 3 surgeons doing the surgery. The requested surgeon is out of network and requires $350. up front plus the $150. for one night stay as that is all they foresee me being there. I can't afford $500 all at once, so I am humbling myself for any possible help available.

I plan to continue to apply for work once this surgery is done and I have healed as my aspiration is to find a good paying stable job so I can find me a small house to rent and live in until I no longer can do for myself.

I know this is a great deal to ask for as times are so rough for everyone.

So, with an open heart and the love of Jesus in my heart I come to you all for assistance in whatever way you can.

Thank You Very Much
