Our home—our safe place where our family builds memories, grows, and finds comfort—was recently impacted by a devastating accident. Our son, who has autism, unintentionally left a bath running for over 45 minutes. In that time, significant water damage spread throughout our home, turning what is normally our place of peace into a space filled with stress and uncertainty. This home is so much more than just walls and a roof. It’s where our children feel safe, where birthdays and milestones are celebrated, and where we come together every day as a family. Right now, that sense of stability has been shaken, and we are doing everything we can to hold things together. We are working hard to move forward, but the cost of repairs and recovery has quickly become overwhelming and is more than we can manage on our own. We do have home insurance, but the deductible is required to complete any work other than Demolotion which is what they have done to our living quarters.
