Hi Family and Friends! Welcome to my campaign page for the Miss Earth USA "Beauties for a Cause" charitable giving challenge.

I am Alexis Rodis, representing Wyoming for Miss Earth USA 2024. I am currently a first year Physical Therapist student in Velez College. Growing up, I have always heard a calling in my heart to become a helping hand for the people and the environment. This has inspired my career choice to meet my goal for community service. To stand for a better future for the generations to come, is to start by taking care of what we see in front of us in the present. I am determined to achieve my aspirations and with all my heart, I am a staunch advocate who is ready to take a step further in inspiring other people to take part in environmental conservation and preservation.

I want to be the voice of those who cannot speak. From my experience, I was always one who never spoke up for myself. I've faced internal struggles in terms with not appreciating and accepting myself for who I am and that affected my self-esteem and ways of life. I was in a stagnant position but I am proud to say that I am not who I was anymore. This influences my choice in taking a stand. I believe that we all have struggles which is why I am to provide society a new lens of perspective. I may be one person but with my voice, I can create a ripple effect that can influence those around me to do the same. My generation is known for utilizing current advanced technology. We are social people that utilizes the media to get across millions of people from all around the world. I want to inspire and create a community filled with love for the community. I firmly believe that if we would want to take care of the planet Earth, then we need to take care of ourselves since change for a better starts in each one of us.

Being knowledgeable and aware of the current environmental and social issues challenges us to make immediate and necessary steps to address the issues that we all experience at this moment. Join me as we take a stand for this cause "Better Mental Health Towards Becoming Loving Individuals of Mother Earth." Let us make a difference! Just as a seed becomes a tree, our community too will grow and prosper because of you.
