On October 6th 2024 my husband and father of my son passed away after suffering a heart attack and being in a coma. He was the only one of the two of us who had a driver's license, we were working on getting mine back but never got around to it. Since he passed, our 6 year old son and I have moved from Manchester where I could walk to my work, and anywhere else, to Salisbury NH. My family absolutely helps, but they have their own jobs and soon snow will fall and some cannot drive in that weather. I need to pay to reinstate my license, take the test and get a good car that's reliable in the winter and won't leave us stranded.I need a car in order to get and keep a job around here, and to keep up with all our appointments. I reached out previously for help for my husband's cremation and everyone was so kind, and we have appreciated it so much beyond words! I hate doing this, I hate asking for things from people, but I really need help again. I need to be able to support my son and myself. This is the worst time of year to be out of work too. Any help is greatly appreciated! If anyone doesn't want to pay the credit card fee I also have Venmo, Chime and set up to receive on Facebook messenger.
