Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, this year I became a member on the executive board of the new Mizzou chapter of VAW Global Health Alliances – Medical Outreach. Starting this chapter has been one of the most meaningful things our team has ever done. I believe in this work with my whole heart, and it’s something I’ve poured countless hours, passion, and energy into because I know it can make a real difference.
VAW Global Health Alliances is a humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living in some of the most underserved communities in the world. Through mobile medical clinics, local partnerships, and health education, we work to expand access to care where it’s needed most.
This July, our Mizzou chapter will be traveling to Peru to help run mobile clinics and lead health education days in communities that often have little to no access to healthcare due to limited clinics, lack of trained professionals, transportation barriers, and financial constraints.
To make this possible, I’m fundraising to cover the costs required to support patient care in Peru. Donations go directly toward hiring local healthcare professionals, purchasing medications and supplies, and covering the basic in-country costs that make the outreach work possible.
If you choose to support me, please know that you’re not just helping me get on a plane — you’re helping bring medical care, education, and compassion to communities that need it. This project is something I deeply believe in, and being part of this mission means so much to me.
Thank you for always supporting me and believing in what I’m working toward. Happy holidays! ❤️
