This poor pup was abandoned & living under a vacant house for over a month. Many people tried to gain his trust over that time, and he finally got up the courage to follow us all the way into our house a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we are unable to keep him long-term. He is such a sweet & playful dog. He has shown zero aggression towards people or other dogs. We have contacted over 2 dozen rescues & shelters, but everything is currently full.
That left us with 2 options:
Surrender him to the county, who wanted us to sign a waiver acknowledging that they are full & strays may be euthanized.
Keep him with us until we can find the perfect home for him.
We chose the latter, but we could use some help. The first step is to get him up to date on all his vaccinations, and then we will need to get him neutered. All donations will go directly towards his care & anything leftover will be passed along to the next foster, or donated to a local animal rescue group. Anything & everything helps.
