Denny faced a series of overwhelming health challenges beginning in 2021. It started with the difficult decision to amputate his toes and lower right leg due to severe circulation issues. Despite the setback, Denny's determination shone through as he adapted to a prosthetic with the help of physical therapy and returned to work, which brought him immense joy and a sense of purpose. However, just as he was finding his stride, further circulation problems led to the amputation of his leg above the right knee. Undeterred, Denny embraced therapy once more with remarkable resilience.
Unfortunately, as Denny was rebuilding his life, we received the devastating news that he had cancer, which had spread to his head. This was a heavy blow during an already challenging time. Losing his ability to work meant losing his life insurance, a critical safety net for our family. Getting a new policy proved impossible due to his ongoing health issues. We're based in Pendleton, Indiana, where Denny has always been an integral part of our community, and this support has been our anchor through these turbulent times. Navigating this journey has been incredibly tough, but Denny's spirit never wanes.
