Nathan is a kind, hardworking young man who has shown up consistently for his job for over two years. He is dependable, loyal, and deeply proud of the work he does.

Nathan is also autistic.

Recently, Nathan experienced a profoundly painful and isolating day at work… one that left him overwhelmed, dysregulated, and emotionally hurt. While others participated in workplace gift exchanges, Nathan was left out entirely. He was then left alone to manage responsibilities that would challenge anyone, and reprimanded when he couldn’t keep up. The stress of the situation led to a tic episode… something that had not happened in a long time.

This wasn’t about productivity.

It wasn’t about performance.

It was about dignity.

For many neurodivergent individuals, work is not just a paycheck… it’s structure, purpose, and pride. When that environment becomes unsafe or invalidating, the impact can be devastating.

This GoFundMe is not about punishment or outrage.

It is about support, care, and repair.

We are raising funds to:

  • Provide Nathan with financial support during a period of emotional recovery
  • Help cover personal needs, comfort items, or time away from a stressful environment
  • Show him (clearly and tangibly) that his effort, presence, and humanity matter

No one should feel invisible at work.

No one should be pushed past their limits and then blamed for struggling.

And no one deserves to be excluded simply for being different.

If you are able to contribute, please know that your support is not just financial… it is a message to Nathan that he is seen, valued, and worthy of respect.

If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign or offering words of encouragement means more than you know.

Thank you for showing up with compassion.

Thank you for choosing humanity.

Thank you for standing with Nathan.
