Simon Mikundi (age 64) is my good friend who built a Christian church, orphanage, and grade school in Nairobi Kenya from scratch under the name of "Upper Room Discourse Ministries".  It has been his life long endeavor that he has toiled endlessly for.  During our decade long friendship I have supported him and the compound there, but due to my own health issues and forced early retirement my finances have become too stretched to meet his needs as his sole support.  We need to ask for help for him and his cause as he has been struck with heart failure and the cost for care and medication is very high, especially for him, as a pastor in Nairobi, where the living standard is very low in comparison to here in the USA.  To better understand, I will add that  I have had a website set up for him for years at www.judahcare.com which has not been updated for some time and raises little funds as I do not understand internet marketing and promotion, but the website still tells his story and reflects the situation.  Pastor has and continues to change lives there, taking in children from the streets and giving them a loving environment and basic education.  At this time, Simon is experiencing heart problems and upon my urging sought out medical care, was diagnosed with heart failure, and is on emergency medications to control it, but he needs more financial help than I can provide.  He refuses to use any of the funds I send for the orphanage for himself, so out of desperation I have created this Spotfund page to ask people to give and help him during this time of need.  Please do so if you can spare a little money to help him, he is the best person I know, giving 100% of his energy to others while saving little for himself.   See Proverbs 3;27
