I cannot explain my excitement to be going back to a place I hold so dear to my heart. I’ve been on many mission trips to other countries, but something about the Philippines just gripped my heart in a special way from the very first moment I stepped off the plane.
The people, the churches, the culture, the saints, the experience, the food- It’s all so thrilling! Every time I go I am completely humbled at their gratefulness even when most have so little. It never fails that I go hoping to be an encouragement and make an impact, only to leave impacted and encouraged myself.
I’m in tears just thinking about FINALLY getting to go back and minister soon! I cannot wait to see what the Lord will do while I’m there. He has given me this opportunity to serve and I pray He does exceedingly, abundant above all I’ve prayed!
