It’s been a struggle to find secure housing, a living wage, and a community of support. Fortunately I found my way on the other side To health and stability — despite the failure of its health and poverty relief systems.
Thats why I’m running for California State Assembly, to steward a government centered around care. Our violent economy of healthcare debt-traps, market housing, and climate-killing war machine has to change. An economy that prioritizes care, and a government that supports the new banks, hospitals, and houses needed to improve our quality of life.
The biggest barrier for me, and any other third party or independent candidate running is the filing fees. This is one piece of California’s “Pay-2-Play Politics” that I will seek to abolish if elected.
