As some may or may not know the story of...Joseph Norton Sheteron's life was taken at the vibrant age of 23 from a drunk driving accident. The Sheteron family has created the JNS Memorial Foundation in hopes of helping the young athetes of Cass County in their future. Joe’s dream was to return to his hometown and serve his community through teaching and coaching, after he finished college. He was so close to doing just that when his life was abruptly cut short. And now we feel his story is bigger than his hometown and he would be proud to help others in surrounding towns.
Any contribution helps the foundation to award a $4,000 scholarship to a student in Cass County. The award is given to the recipient’s college of choice and dispersed annually, up to four years. We have set and maintained a high standard for qualifying students. And with your help and support; we are excited to tell you that we have been able to award fourteen scholarships to outstanding student/athletes. This will be the 22nd year for the JNS Foundation; with over $80,000 in scholarships awarded. (assets are managed The Gateway Foundation)!
We have two main corporate sponsorships available. A Silver sponsorship sign with logo is $150.00. Your logo will also be placed on our website and provide a link to your company website. A Gold sponsorship sign with logo is $500 and above. In addition to a sign with your company logo on it, your logo on our website with a link to your website, the 5ft. banner at the check in station is also given. Your logo can simply be emailed (in JPG form) to jnsmemorialfoundation@live.com.
